How do I get to the circuit?
There are several ways to reach Mobility Resort Motegi depending on where you're travelling from.
1. Travelling via the Haga-Utsunomiya LRT (Light Line): Take the Haga-Utsunomiya Light Rail Transit (Light Line) to Haga-Takanezawa Kogyodanchi Station, where shuttle buses operate to the circuit during the MotoGP weekend.
2. Travelling by public transportation: You can reach the circuit by train and bus from nearby cities, including Utsunomiya and Mito. Additional shuttle bus services usually operate throughout the MotoGP weekend to make your journey easier.
3. Travelling by car: Driving is a convenient option if you're travelling within Japan. Follow the expressway network towards Mobility Resort Motegi and be sure to allow extra travel time, as traffic is typically heavier on race weekend. Below are the different routes to follow:
For those in Chiba, Tsukuba, and Iwaki areas:
- Route 1 (using Joban Expressway): From Mito IC to North Gate → About 50 minutes
Nearest Smart IC available for ETC vehicles:
- Route 2 (using Joban Expressway): From Mito Kita IC to North Gate → About 40 minutes
From Nakadori and Aizu areas:
- Route 3 (using Tohoku Expressway): From Yaita IC to North Gate → About 90 minutes
From those in Tokyo and Chiba Area:
- Route 4 (using Kita-Kanto Expressway): From Tomobe IC to East and South Gate → About 40 minutes
